Join Riverside Education for an engaging evening mastering the art of vegetable lacto-fermentation. Under the expert guidance of Verena and Jenny, you will taste and craft various naturally fermented vegetables like sauerkraut and kimchi, all without sugar or vinegar.
If your garden is brimming with cabbage and carrots, and you're curious about boosting your immune system or adding cost-effective probiotics to your diet, this session is perfect for you. Lacto-fermentation, an ancient method gaining renewed interest through trends like slow food, keto, and paleo, offers a healthy and tasty way to preserve your harvest.
Fermentation is simpler than it seems; by following a few straightforward rules, you can create delicious additions to your meals. Plus, homemade sauerkraut and kimchi make thoughtful gifts!
In this hands-on 2-hour workshop, learn essential fermentation techniques and prepare your own batch to take home. We’ll provide all ingredients—just bring a jar!
Limited to 12 participants. Bookings are essential and close Tuesday, 22nd April at 2pm. Book Now
