After two successful mini-series, Barbara Knewitz from Dreamspace Theatre is launching regular theatre classes for kids aged 5 to 8! Register your little performers now.

The classes use Jeux Dramatique, a form of improvisational theatre without a performance goal. Children use colourful cloth props to create their own environments and can act out various roles from stories read aloud. This approach encourages limitless imagination and explores social roles.

The classes include short relaxation exercises and fun games, fostering deep exploration of concepts, diverse themes, and stronger group relationships. Kids will gain confidence expressing themselves amidst familiar faces.

Barbara studied acting and theatre pedagogy in Berlin and has experience working with diverse groups, including children in holiday programs. Now living in Mahana with her family, she also teaches antenatal classes and works as a doula.

Please dress your children in neutral clothes, ideally plain colours.

Limited to 14 children, 5 to 8 years. $70 term fee (for all six classes). Bookings are essential and close Wednesday, 7th May at 2pm. Book Now
