Making Mozzarella from scratch with kids is fun, exciting, tasty, and quite messy. Riverside Education's Tanja and Verena invite you and one of your favourite young people to join their cheese-making workshop, perfect for creating cheese for pizza and salad.
This hands-on session will teach you how to make Mozzarella for dinner, a task that is simple yet requires some technique. At the end of workshop, you will take home a recipe and your own homemade Mozzarella ball.
Beyond the culinary fun, this workshop provides a unique opportunity for guardians and children to learn together, collaborate and and spend some quality time with one another. These shared moments will create lasting memories that can be cherished long after the cheese is gone.
As participants will need to handle very hot water, please bring a new pair of thick kitchen gloves that fit well.
Limited to 6 adult-child pairs. $20 per pair. Bookings are essential and close Friday, 18th October at 2pm. Book Now
This workshop is proudly sponsored by the Riverside Community Trust. Please contact Tanja (at education@riverside.org.nz) for workshop questions or to ask about sponsorship options.
