In Riverside's first cheese-making workshop of the season, our two experienced Home Cheese Makers, Tanja and Verena, will share an original Swiss Cheese recipe with you. Together, they will debunk some of the myths surrounding successful cheese-making and share with you lessons they learned over the years.
During this two-hour session, you'll have the chance to taste and compare some of their homemade cheese, including paneer. But it's not just about sampling - they'll also be taking you through making your own cheese, giving you the skills and confidence to try it at home and with simple ingredients.
You will learn to appreciate the versatility of humble dairy milk, which is not only a great source of nutrition but can be turned into a variety of products that mean less dependence on store-bought products.
This session is semi-hands-on, semi-demonstration. Whether you're a beginner or have experience already, this workshop is a great opportunity to learn more about cheese-making and take another step towards greater self-sufficiency.
