'For many of us, breathing means air coming in and out the nostrils, inflating more or less the chest and the abdomen. We never really learn the process of breathing and how to feel what is going on inside our body. Marie will teach how to stretch the diaphragm and open the rib cage in a way to get rid of tensions sitting there. Learn how to breath slowly, deeply and regularly (Patanjali Yoga Sutras). Breathing is not just about gas exchanges, it deals also with subtle energies as Prana and is also the royal way to relaxation (by consciously directing the Sympathetic nervous system). Efficient breath enlarges consciousness in our body and in our life and brings us « Here and Now ». The control of the breath is a main tool to release and go above our limits, our blockages, at the physical, emotional and mental levels. Whatever our issues, breathing blockages are always present. Stress is the main cause for many illnesses. By learning to develop and control our breath, we acquire an efficient skill to dissolve stress layer after layer and find a way to recover and prolong health.' Marie is a general medical doctor from France and has lived in Auroville (India) for the past 13 years.
