About the Event
Ecopsychology as a subject has emerged over the past 20 years. At its base level, ecopsychology is the study of the relationship between humans and nature in psychological terms and how that relationship impacts our well-being, behaviour, and worldview. It combines psychology and ecology to promote sustainability and interconnectedness. Essentially, it is a way of looking at the human being and the world no longer as if they were two separate and independent things but recognizing how much we are part of life and this beautiful green and blue planet.
Mark (MA in Transpersonal Ecopsychology) is informed and guided by 25+ years of experience as an educator – both in NZ and internationally. His aim is to nurture ecospychological awareness for the benefit of people and the rest of nature by facilitating meaningful and inspiring experiences in community and nature.
