Make a Bowl - Clay Workshop 4 Kids (8 years+)

As a follow-up to last month's hugely popular plate-making workshop, we are offering another clay experience to children (8 years+). So, come to squeeze and pinch some clay with us :)

The tactile experience of kneading, shaping, and decorating what is essentially a piece of our earth, is grounding and calming... people of all ages are drawn to it. It is a physical-sensual-mental experience that doesn't require words. The physicality and limitless potential for creativity engage our muscles, fine motor skills, vision, and imagination – it is gentle and forgiving. And kids love it.

Tanja and Faline will help participants in this introductory level workshop to gain a feel for the clay, create a simple bowl, and personalise it.

This session is creative, 100% hands-on, and potentially very messy – please dress accordingly :) Clay stains may not wash out of some fabrics.

Please note that if you would like your children's work fired, you will not be able to take it home on the day, and there may be a small additional task. Unfired work does keep, but cannot get wet and is relatively fragile.

Limited to 10 participants, 8 years and older (younger kids are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult). Booking essential.
