Creative Writing & Spoken Word for Adults

16th November (1pm to 2.45pm) & 23rd November (1pm to 3.15pm)

Following the popular kids' courses Barbara Knewitz (Dreamspace Theatre) offered here at Riverside in October, she is now inviting adults to come and play :)

Here is what she has to say about these two sessions that build on each other:

“We will use small sensory stimuli to find "word building blocks" and work together to create snippets of text, text fragments and perhaps longer texts, scenes or even poetry.

Together, we explore how we can combine or take apart these text fragments in creative ways.Nobody knows what will emerge.We will explore how the texts can be transformed into the spoken word.

No theatrical skills are required - just the courage to try things out and experiment. And perhaps a masterpiece will emerge.
