About the Event
Over the last 3 years, Tanja has run numerous hand-building workshops, foundation courses and – with Riverside's very own clay space opening last June - private wheel lessons. One question frequently comes up amongst participants: how do I make a simple yet attractive handle for my cup (jug, tray or other pot)?
Tanja feels it is time to devote a little bit of time to this specific skill and has brought Hazel Ashton on board to share her expertise and experience.
Hazel is a retired potter with a wealth of knowledge and a gentle yet clear teaching style. Together, Tanja and Hazel will show participants 4 different techniques and help them to gain a feel for the skills needed for each one.
This session is creative, 100% hands-on, and potentially a bit messy – please dress (yourself and your children) accordingly :) Clay stains may not wash out of some…
